Through the 3D clay printer, we are allowed to create clay volumes impossible to achieve through traditional manufacturing. Water is the indispensable element for printing. We try to show the importance of water for living beings and we want to propose a product that helps protect this element. We want to reflect on the damage that the human being causes to nature, specifically to the oceans and seas. The sea as the purest and most vivid representation of the element in question, our references are geometries derived from marine life. The concentric symmetry of the shells is a very attractive example. The idea is to present a kind of dish made of clay with formal marine inspiration. The final goal is to experience this same but with some edible material. We are thinking of making an edible tableware that replaces single-use plastic plates.
